The carbon fiber rods upgrade give you more control over your sharpening skills. The rods are 5 times lighter then the stock guide rods allowing for longer sharpening sessions without getting arm fatigue. The carbon rods are much quieter then the stock rods allowing you to hear how your stones are cutting your blades better.
These are plug and play all you do is unscrew your stock rods and screw these on.
These will only work on model with threaded rods not the rods with a ball tip
